“A Prestige survey regarding customers’ needs before the launch of the modular studio revealed that people would welcome the company as it has loads of experience in handling modular kitchens on an international platform. We already have 50 orders for modular units even before the launch,” said Mr. Malhotra.

Expansion plans

Besides Ludhiana, Cucine Lube India has two other studios in Delhi as well. To expand its retail presence in the country the company is planning to add 9 more new stores by 2011 in the Metros and mini metros. Each store envisages an investment of Rs.1.5 crores.
