After tickling every Hyderabadi tune to its new refreshing ‘Bindaas’ programmes, BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad’s no.1 FM station living up to its new ‘Bindaas’ attitude introduces the most bindaas, lethal & gripping radio contest ever called the ‘BIG Time Bomb’ for its listeners. It is one of the most interactive contests wherein listeners get the opportunity to win up to Rs. 1 Lac as prize money, every hour from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, beginning May 19, 2008 on the breakfast show BIG Sandadi with RJ Shekar every morning. The format of ‘BIG Time Bomb’ will have a computerised voice rattling off amounts of money in increasing value, each amount separated by 5 seconds of silence (Rs.100…Rs.250…Rs.500…Rs.1000… Rs.2000…going up to a Lac). The twist in the contest though is the Bomb – which is planted between any two amounts. The caller has to beat the bomb and say ‘BIG.’ before the bomb explodes and if the bomb explodes before the caller say ‘Stop’, the player loses everything they have earned that far.

For e.g. A contestant could end up losing Rs. 80000 if you say ‘Stop’ at Rs.5000 for fear of the bomb, or you could end up winning the Lac if you get a ‘No bomb’ game.
